It's been gathered that PSV has appointed Ruud van Nistelrooij as their next manager.
The former Real Madrid star has put pen to paper on a deal until 2025, as he replace Roger Schmidt, who will leave his position at the end of the season when his contract expires.
PSV Director of Football John de Jong said, "We are delighted to confirm Ruud van Nistelrooij as our next manager."
"We all have tremendous faith in his abilities, including Marcel Brands, who will be PSV's new General Manager this summer." He is a strong and inspiring leader, and his dedication and work ethic will be unmatched.
If you recall that Van Nistelrooy began his career with Den Bosch, before moving onto Heerenveen, eventually making a name for himself at PSV Eindhoven, where he won two Eredivisie titles.
The Dutch international moved to England in 2001 to sign for Manchester United. Despite injury threatening career at Old Trafford stadium, he won the Premier League, FA Cup, Football League Cup and FA Community Shield, along with winning the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year twice. Van Nistelrooy hit 150 goals in just 219 games for United before he left in 2006.

Ruud joined Real Madrid but injury saw him leave the Spanish side winning La Liga twice and the Supercopa de España before signing for Hamburger SV.
He returned to with Hamburg, he moved back to Spain with Málaga in the summer of 2011 before he announced on 14 May 2012.
Van Nistelrooy represented the Netherlands on 70 occasions, netting 35 times.
