Manchester City score four goals in derby demolition of United as Kevin De Bruyne and Riyad Mahrez net twice to move champions six points clear.
The home side took the lead when Kevin De Bruyne scored his first after just five minutes of play, with Bernardo Silva doing excellently to dribble down the byline and to play a ball into the path of the Belgian as he arrived in the area to finish.
Manchester City were the dominant side throughout, but United equalised in the 22nd minute with Jadon Sancho did well to cut into some space and to finish from the edge of the area.
Kevin De Bruyne scored his brace after firing a rebound in during the 28th minute, David De Gea initially saved Phil Foden shot which fell kindly for the Belgian.
The third goal came from Kevin De Bruyne corner which was floated over everyone for Mahrez to volley in on 68 minutes.
Manchester City made it 4-1 after Mahrez again, finishing powerfully in stoppage time after managing to stay onside, with VAR intervening to give the goal.
