Frank Lampard side dropped into the relegation zone of 17th position after they lost in the Merseyside derby on Sunday at Anfield.
Liverpool found it difficult to break down the Everton backline and had few chances from open play to threaten Jordan Pickford's goal.
But the break through came in the second half after 62 minutes with the introduction of Luis Diaz and Origi.
Mohamed Salah cross to Andy Robertson sneaking in at the far post to head into the back of the net.
The Reds added a second in the stoppage time with an overhead kick from Luis Diaz finding Divock Origi to nod the ball past a flailing Pickford.
