Liverpool star Robert Firmino set to miss Newcastle clash after suffering foot injury

Liverpool have been dealt serious injury blow ahead of their trip to St James Park on Saturday.

The Reds who are sitting in second place, a point behind leaders Manchester City travel to face Eddie Howe men. It's early kick off on the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Jurgen Klopp who just signed long term deal with Liverpool have confirmed that Roberto Firmino set to miss the trip to St. James' Park.

The forward has been forced to sit out the Reds’ last three matches due to a foot injury and has yet to return to full training.

Meanwhile, Klopp added that Kostas Tsimikas has resumed work after illness ruled him out of Wednesday’s Champions League fixture with Villarreal, but Curtis Jones missed Thursday’s session.
