Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney has been inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame.

Just so you know, the Hall of Fame recognises and honours retired players who have an exceptional record of on-pitch success and have shown significant contribution to the league since its inception in 1992.
Rooney scored 183 Premier League goals to become United's record scorer in the competition during his 23 years spell at the Old Trafford stadium, while winning the title five times, including three years on the bounce between 2006/07 and 2008/09.
He also claimed the Player of the Month award five times and was named the league’s Player of the Season in 2009/10.
Rooney also ranks second in the Premier League’s goals chart with 208 to his name, behind only Alan Shearer (260) on the coveted list.
