75 years old Atiku Abubakar neat Saraki, Wike and others to win PDP Presidential primary

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has emerged winner of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential primary election.

It's been gathered that the presidential primary for the PDP was held on Saturday, May 28 at the velodrome complex of the Moshood Kashimawo Abiola Stadium, Abuja. 

Atiku Abubakar, 75,defeated 12 other aspirants in the election as he polled a total of 371 votes. 

While Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike came second with a total of 237 votes, while the former Senate President, Bukola Saraki recorded 70 votes to finish third.
