Arsenal upgrades Gabriel Martinelli with new shirt from "35" to "11" (Photos)

Arsenal youngster has been handed a new jersey number ahead of the forthcoming coming 2022-23 season. 

It appears that Gabriel Martinelli will become an integral part of Mikel Arteta side come next season following his performance this campaign. 

The 20 years old Brazil international has been rewarded with a new shirt number which he unveiled during the club's New kit. 

Arsenal officially revealed teenage sensation Gabriel Martinelli as the player who will be wearing the club's 'number 11' jersey from the next football campaign 

Marinelli enjoyed a significant role under Mikel Arteta this campaign, managing 5 goals and 6 assists in 35 appearances.

The jersey number 11 was previously worn by Martin Odegaard during his first season loan from Real Madrid. Also Mesut Ozil, Marc Overmars, and Paul Merson have donned the jersey number in the past.
