FIFA fines Nigeria N63m due to poor crowd control during World Cup Qualifiers against Ghana


World football body, FIFA has sanction the Super of Nigeria. 

It's been gathered that FIFA has come out to frown at the disorganization of Nigerian fans during their world cup Qualifiers game in Abuja. 

The fans reportedly invaded the football pitch after 90th-minute following the 1-1 draw against the Black Stars of Ghana.

On Monday May 2nd 2022, FIFA have fined Nigeria CHF150,000 (N63.9m) following violence that occurred at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja on March 29. 

FIFA also ordered the country to play their next international match behind closed doors.

Ghana booked their tickets for the World Cup 2022 coming up in Qatar later this year following 2-1 aggregate score.
