The Los Blancos stunned Pep Guardiola side to book a finale with Liverpool who had showed class against Villarreal on Tuesday to win 5-2.
Rodrygo came off the bench to score twice in stoppage time after Riyad Mahrez had scored for City to extend the game to extra time.
Then Karim Benzema scored a penalty all thanks to Ruben Dias error in the box with ended the game 6-5 on aggregate in favor of Real Madrid.
If you recall that Mohamed Salah had revealed his wish to face Real Madrid in the final for the second time.
The former Chelsea and Roma forward got injured in the 2018 final. Salah was carried off back in the 2018 final following a cynical challenge from then Real star Sergio Ramos that dislocated his shoulder.
Shortly after last night result, Salah took to his social media space to tweet: "We have a score to settle"
Real Madrid will face Liverpool on the 28th of May in Paris for the final of the UEFA Champions League.
