Liverpool fans are worried that Mohammed Salah might miss the Champions League final after he sustained an injury during the FA cup finals. Liverpool has had a successful campaign this season, and most people have been rooting for them to secure quadruple titles. Unfortunately, the Premium League cup seems out of reach, with Manchester City remaining top in total points and goal difference.

There is a high chance that Manchester City will take the Premier League cup, but Liverpool appears better positioned to grab all the other three cups. Having won the FA Cup and Carabao Cup, the Champions League Cup is a heartbeat away. However, facing Real Madrid in the finals requires all the leading players to be in excellent form. Hence Moh Salah’s injury comes as a blow to Jurgen’s team.

The Champions League final is a highly anticipated match in which fans are divided between the two teams. This will be a great opportunity for online punters to explore the available betting markets. Fortunately, this is one of the most coveted football events, and sportsbooks worldwide, including the betting sites in Nigeria, have rolled out numerous betting markets. Thus, any injury on a key Liverpool player could make them vulnerable against the highly competitive Real Madrid team.

The Egyptian suffered a groin complaint around 30 minutes into the game at Wembley. Although he was able to walk off the pitch after being substituted by Diago Jota, his injury could be such a blow to the Reds. Liverpool went on to win the tie in penalties after both teams failed to score inside 120 minutes. The miss by Mason Mount allowed Kostas Tsimikas to score the winning goal ending in a 6-5 shootouts.

With the Premier League slowly slipping off their hands, the Reds are keen to win the biggest prize in European club football. Liverpool has previously lifted six  European cups. Mo Salah has been quoted saying he can’t wait to meet again with Real Madrid after the team lost four years ago Real in the finals. Despite his injury, the Egyptian seems he will have a chance to play and gain revenge on the Real giants. In an interview on Saturday evening after the FA game, he was asked if he would be fit for the Champions League final. His response was, ‘it’s all good!’

Jurgen Klopp also seems confident that Salah will make the final. Virgil van Dijk was also another key player who sustained some injury during the FA cup. However, the Dutchman’s injury is not severe, and Jurgen is positive that he will make the final’s lineup in Paris.

Mo Salah is a crucial scorer in the Red team, and this season, he has scored 30 goals in all competitions. Hence he has played a vital role in the team, and the club will hope he is not ruled out for three remaining encounters.

On Tuesday, Jurgen Kloop boys will take on Southampton and Wolves the next weekend before heading to Paris on May 28.
