Mikel Arteta provides fitness update on Ben White ahead of Leeds United game

Arsenal have been boosted with the return of their defender ahead of their game against Leeds United.

The Gunners are expected to host Leeds United at the Emirates stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Arsenal are enjoying a good run of games, with three victories against Chelsea, Manchester United and West Ham. 

Mikel Arteta sits in fourth place in the Premier League table. The manager has confirmed that Ben White is available to face Leeds. 

The English international missed the 2-1 win over West Ham last week due to injury. It seems he has recovered and he's set to join the rest of the team in training. 

Speaking to the media this afternoon, Arteta said: "Ben White is still in contention so he needs to train tomorrow to make sure that he's available to play." 

Recall that Mikel Arteta signed a contract extension with the Gunners which will see him remain as manager until 2025.
