Philippe Coutinho joins Aston Villa on a permanent deal from Barcelona

Aston Villa have completed the signature of Brazilian and former Liverpool star on a permanent deal. 

It's been gathered that Steven Gerard has managed to convince Coutinho to switch to Villa Park after a loan deal.

According to Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano,  Aston paid fee in region of €20m to sign Philippe Coutinho

Coutinho has been unable to find his form at Camp Nou since he moved from Liverpool for a fee in region of £150m. He was sent on loan at Bayern Munich where he won the Bundesliga and Champions League in 2019/2020 season.
