Super Eagles star Calvin Bassey Named In UEFA Europe League Team Of The Season

Super Eagles full back has been included in the team of the season in the second tier of European club football. 

Recall that Rangers fell short in the final of the Europa League on Thursday night against Eintracht Frankfurt after a penalty shoot out. 

But the defeat to the eventual winners did not stop Calvin Bassey from producing a great game for the Scottish side. 

UEFA's Technical Observer panel has selected its 2021/22 UEFA Europa League Team of the Season, and the Nigerian international was named the best in the left back position.

Recall that Bassey who made his international debut for Nigeria in the second leg World Cup of against Ghana also picked up the Young Player award at Rangers.
