The vice president of Nigeria, Yomi Osinbajo was pictured at the tomb of the late Alhaji Sir Abubakar, who happens to be the first Prime Minister of of Nigeria.
Taking to his verified Instagram page (@profosinbajo), he visited the tomb in Bauchi as he paid homage with the caption which reads:
"At the tomb of Alhaji Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, the first and only Prime Minister of Nigeria to pay respect as we visited Bauchi."
Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa was a Nigerian politician who served as the first and only Prime Minister of Nigeria upon independence in 1960.
He was assassinated 15 January 1966.
