Arsenal and Ghana Star Thomas Partey honoured with Chieftaincy title in his hometown

Arsenal star has been honoured with a Chieftaincy title in his hometown in Ghana. 

Thomas Partey is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Arsenal and the Black Stars of Ghana. 

The power playing midfielder has been honoured for his performance for the Black stars of Ghana which saw them book the 2022 World Cup ticket. 

If you recall that Ghana held Nigeria to a goalless draw in Kumasi and played a 1-1 draw in Nigeria to beat Eagles to the ticket for Qatar 2022 World Cup later this year. 

He was snapped holding the citation of the title from his ancestral people of Manya Krobo in Ghana’s Eastern Region.

The former Atletico Madrid star was snapped rocking the traditional Ghanaian attire at his coronation ceremony.
