"I was not involved in an accident, we ran into an accident scene" - Yemi Osinbajo debunks being involved in car accident in Ondo

The vice president of Nigeria Yemi Osinbajo has debunked rumours of car accident

It was rumoured that Osinbajo and his entourage were involved in an accident along Ondo road. 

Taking to his verified Instagram page (@profosinbajo), he shared photos from the accident scene. 

According to him, he was on his way to the airport when they ran into an accident scene on the road. 

Osinbajo who is currently campaigning for presidency revealed that they helped the victims from the crash scene. 

He captioned the post: "Thank you all for the calls and concern, I was not involved in an accident. On my way to the airport to travel to Ondo, we ran into an accident scene. My security and medical teams assisted in removing the victims of the crash from the scene. They have been transported to the Airforce Base hospital"
