Athletic Bilbao striker Inaki Williams switch international alliance to play for Ghana after ending hopes of waiting for Spain call up

It appears that Inaki Williams has decided to give up on hopes of securing international cap into Spanish national team.

The Athletic Bilbao forward is eligible to play for Luis Enrique Spanish side as well as Ghanaian national team.

Meanwhile Athletic Bilbao’s star Iñaki Williams has announced announced his deciding to play international football with the Black Stars of Ghana.

The 28-year-old was born in Bilbao, Spain to Ghanaian immigrant parents.

The striker switch to the Black Stars gives Ghana a boost ahead of their Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup campaign.

Recall that Ghana beat the Super Eagles of Nigeria to the ticket for the world cup.
