Eddie Nketiah scores hat-trick as Arsenal thrashed Ipswich Town 5-1 in behind closed door friendly

Arsenal recorded 5-1 win over Ipswich Town, in a behind-closed-doors friendly at London Colney on Saturday.

Mikel Arteta seems to be preparing his players ahead of their upcoming pre-season tour next week.

The Gunners played the game behind closed doors on Saturday July 2nd, with Eddie Nketiah scoring hat-trick.

Recall that the England U21 just signed a new contract with reward of shirt no 14.

Nketiah scored three goals and created an assist for Sambi Lokonga's goal, before Folarin Balogun got in on the act in the second half.

The opening goal came after 30 seconds on the clock when Nketiah opened the scoring.

The striker soon turned provider, laying on the second for Sambi Lokonga.

Nketiah then completed his hat-trick inside 35 minutes just before the half-time break.

In the second half, Folarin Balogun came off the bench to score, before Ipswich reduced the arrears with a consolation through Sone Aluko.
