Kalvin Phillips has taken to his social media space to express his sadness about missing his official presentation to the fans this Sunday afternoon.
Manchester City unveiled their summer signings so far in front of thousands of their fans at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday July 10th 2022.
Recall that Kalvin Phillips joined the Premier League champions for reported £45m from Leeds United on a five years deal.
The English footballer has been handed jersey number 4 which was vacated by Manchester City captain Fernandinho who departed following his contract expiration.
According to Kalvin Phillips, he missed the presentation due to an illness. He tweeted: "Really gutted that I wasn’t feeling well enough to make the @ManCity unveiling today. I’ll see you all soon, thanks for making me feel so welcome already"
