Man City's signings Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez handed jersey number 9 and 19

Manchester City have announced shirt numbers for their summer signings.

Pep Guardiola have completed the mega deal of Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund on a long term deal.

The Norway international happens to be Manchester City first signing this summer transfer.

Haaland has been handed shirt number 9, which has been vacated by Gabriel Jesus who has moved to join Arsenal in London.

Meanwhile, Julian Alvarez has completed his switch to Etihad Stadium.

Recall that the Argentine international signed for Manchester City in January from River Plate but was loaned back until the end of the season.

It's been gathered that Alvarez will wear jersey number 19.

Also, Manchester City have also signed Kalvin Phillips from Leeds United following the exit of their captain Fernandinho whose contract expired.
