Nigerian defender Calvin Bassey spotted in Ajax shirt for the first time

Nigerian defender has completed his move to Eredivisie side on a long term deal.

Calvin Bassey joins Ajax from Rangers for €22m fixed fee plus add ons and sell-on clause.

The Super Eagles left back has put pen to paper on long term deal, as he will replace Lisandro who has joined Manchester United.

Calvin Bassey was pictured undergoing his medical following his arrival. He will wear jersey number 33.

Recall that Bassey who picked up Rangers young player of the season award, made his international debut for Nigeria in the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers play off against Ghana this year.
