Liverpool's captain has taken to his social media platform to praise their summer signin, Darwin Nunez.

It seems that the Uruguay international might been justifying his transfer deal to Anfield.

If you recall that Liverpool signed the 22 years from Benfica for club record fee of £100m on a five years deal.

Darwin Nunez scored four goals as Liverpool recorded 5-0 thumping of Leipzig in their pre season friendly in Austria.

Nunez came off the bench in the second half to add the four goals after Mohamed Salah had given the Reds the lead in the first half.

Meanwhile, Jordan Henderson reacted to the Uruguay performance with the caption which reads: "He’s off the Mark."
