Manchester United are closing in on their summer transfer signing in coming days.

Erik Den Hag hasn't enjoyed a great spell so far at Old Trafford stadium, losing against Brighton Hove Albion on opening day.

United suffered another humiliating 4-0 loss to Brentford away from last weekend.

But Manchester United fans have been relieved with the reports that Casemiro is set to join the club.




The 30 years old Brazil international is one of the most sort after defensive midfielders in Europe.

It's been gathered that Manchester United have agreed a fee in region of €60m plus another €10m add ons with Real Madrid for the signature of Casemiro.

United confirmed that the transfer fee has been reached last night with the tweet which reads: "We are delighted to have reached an agreement in principle for the transfer of @Casemiro."


The power playing midfielder has said his final goodbye to Real Madrid fans, players and the entire staff during their Friday's training session.

Casemiro was excluded from Real Madrid squad to face Celta Vigo this weekend. He is expected to fly to England to complete his medical and sign the contract.



Meanwhile, Casemiro close pals in the midfield section which includes Toni Kroos and Luka Modric have bid their farewell to him.

The Real Madrid trio of Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Casemiro have developed great understanding at the centre of the field.



Both Toni Kroos and Modrić shared images of them posing with the UEFA Champions League trophy in different seasons.

For Luka, he captioned: "what a journey".

While Kroos shared moment they lifted their fifth Champions League trophy last season.





Also, Real Madrid’s captain Karim Benzema also shared a goal celebration moment with Casemiro.

Although, Casemiro is unavailable for Manchester United's home fixture against Liverpool on Monday night but he could be in the stance watching the game.
