Arsenal football club have announced new shirt number for their goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.
The Gunners have confirmed that English goalkeeper will take up the shirt number 1 ahead of the forthcoming 2022-23 5.
The England international previous wore number 32 when he arrived at Arsenal from Bournemouth last ssason.
Ramsdale made 37 appearances in all competitions during his debut campaign for the Gunners.
Leno who wore the shirt no 1 has joined Fulham FC on a three-year deal. The Germany international joined the West London side for fee in the region of £8m.
Ramsdale has shared his farewell message to Bernd Leno who left the club to join fellow London rival Fulham.
"To Bernd Leno I wish you nothing but happiness and greatness on your new adventure. Thank you for showing me the ropes and I hope I can hold my self as graceful as you did in the shirt!", he said.
