Xavi Hernandez has been building his squad ahead of the forthcoming 2022-23 season.

The Blaugrana have announced several signings this transfer window as they look to boost the squad.

It's understood that Barcelona are going through a change in the club's fortune given the project ongoing under Xavi Hernandez.

According to ESPN, Barcelona face huge challenge in registering their players ahead of the coming new season.

Barcelona will kick off their new La Liga campaign at Camp Nou against Real Vallecano this weekend.

It's understood that Barcelona are struggling to register new signings Andreas Christensen who joined from Chelsea and Frank Kessie who arrived from AC Milan.

Although, fellow summer arrivals Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha and Jules Kounde are also yet to be inscribed with LaLiga. But it's understood that theirs could be sorted before the deadline day.

Christensen and Frank Kessie registration seems to have a hitch because they arrived on free transfer.

Barca have spent over €150 million this summer and have raised over €600m by selling 25% of their domestic television rights for 25 years and a 24.5% stake in Barca Studios.

Meanwhile, ESPN reports that the contract renewals signed by Sergi Roberto and Ousmane Dembele have not been registered either.
