Barcelona shares snap of teams in pot 1 ahead of Champions League draw for 2022-23 season

Barcelona seems to be looking forward to the UEFA Champions League group stage draw.

It's understood that the draws for the European competition is expected to take place in Istanbul, Türkiye, on Thursday 25 August and will be streamed live from 18:00 CET.

The Spanish side have been drawn along with 32 other teams with 26 teams given direct entry to the group stage and the six winners of the play-off ties.

Barcelona have been drawn in pot 2 which consists of their fellow Spanish teams in Sevilla and Atletico Madrid Premier clubs Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham. And RB Leipzig from Bundesliga, Juventus from Serie A.

Barcelona's Twitter handler shared image of the teams in the pot 1 which includes teams that emerged UEFA Champions League winner (Real Madrid), of Europa League winner (Frankfurt) and other winners of their domestic leagues.
