Fans are currently wondering what is going on with Chelsea after suffering their second defeat this season in the Premier League??

Thomas Tuchel looks like he might have lost his touch on the team with the way the Blues are conceding goals after mstch day five in the Premier League.

Chelsea suffered another away defeat against Southampton at the St Mary's 9m Tuesday night.

The hosts complete a first half comeback with goals from Romeo Lavia and Adam Armstrong to secure their three points against Chelsea side that boost of several experience players.

Raheem Sterling gave the Blues the lead after 22 minutes of the game, but Lavia, the teenager equalised with a strike five minutes later.

Southampton completed the turn around just before the half time whistle after Armstrong scored the second to the Saints.

It's been gathered that Chelsea have spent $114m on defenders so far this summer transfer window.

The Blues completed signing of Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli and Marc Cucurella from Brighton so far.

Despite these spending on defenders, Chelsea are currently in 8th place having already conceded 8 goals so far in the 2022-23 season.

Although, Chelsea's forward line doesn't seem to be balance. Thomas Tuchel has prepared Raheem Sterling who isn't a natural centre forward as his favorite to lead the attack.

The English international joined Chelsea this summer from Manchester City, which saw Romelu Lukaku leave on loan back to Inter Milan and Timo Werner returned to RB Leipzig.
