Jules Koundé set to miss La Liga game with Real Sociedad as Barcelona failed to register their £55m summer signing

Barcelona set to face Real Sociedad in their match day two fixture.

The Blaugrana started their campaign with a goalless draw against Real Vallecano.

Xavi Hernandez side weren't able to find the back of the net despite their attack of Robert Lewandowski who joined from Bayern Munich, Raphinha from Leeds and other summer signings this transfer window.

Barcelona were able to register four of their five summer signings this transfer window before the match day one fixture.

Meanwhile, ESPN has reported that Jules Koundé will be unavailable to face Sociedad on Sunday evening.

It's understood that Barcelona have failed to register the French international who joined for fee in region of £55m from Sevilla.
