It's Liverpool's second win this season after they thrashed Bournemouth last week.
The Reds have endured a slow start to the new Premier League campaign draws in their opening two games before they lost to Manchester United.
Despite the injury list under Jurgen Klopp's dossier at Liverpool, they managed to snatch late winner against Newcastle United.
Second half Goals from Robert Frimino and Fabio Carvalho stoppage winner ensured that they kept their title challenge alive.
Although, Liverpool's captain Jordan Henderson was substituted in the game.
It's understood that The captain was withdrawn after 71 minutes at Anfield.
Jürgen Klopp confirmed that Henderson will need to undergo a scan to detect the extent of his injury.
Speaking during his post match conference, Klopp said:
"Obviously Hendo is injured, he got a hamstring [injury], which is absolutely not helpful. I don't think so."
Liverpool already have lost Thiago Alcantara, Diogo Jota, Matip, Ibrahim Konate, Naby Keita to injuries.
He added: "[It was] that serious that he couldn't carry on, so it was no tactical change."
