Mikel Arteta should promote 19 years old youngster, Marquinhos - Campbell

19 year old Arsenal youngster has continued to impress at the youth team of the Gunners.

If you remember that Marquinhos joined Arsenal for fee in the region of £3m from Brazilian side Sao Paulo.

Although, the teenager has been playing for Arsenal's U12’s in the Premier League 2.

Arsenal's coach Mikel Arteta admits that the forward is part of his ongoing project but he isn't ready for first team promotion.

Meanwhile Kevin Campbell has told The Highbury Squad on YouTube that Arteta should give the youngster a chance in first team.

Campbell said: “Marquinhos who’s done really well in the reserves and really shone. He’s played first-team football. He’s lively. Might as well have him on the bench. Let the fans see him. Let’s have a look because you know what, you might just get a surprise.”
