Pep Guardiola will return to Camp Nou to face his former club on 24th August 2022.
The Premier League side have started their season in the league recording two victories in thier first two games.
Unfortunately, Manchester City were held to 3-3 draw draw against Newcastle United at the Magpies over the weekend.
It's been gathered that Manchester City are currently in Spain ahead of the charity game against Barcelona.
Manchester City players and the entire staff had their training session at the home ground of La Liga club Girona.
After the session, Pep Guardiola and his team posed for a group photograph as they appreciated Girona for being hostle.
Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola decided to pay visit to his old time friend, Juan Carlos before the charity game.
Juan Carlos Unzue, a former Barcelona player and coach and friend of Pep Guardiola. He was diagnosed as having amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in 2020.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis is an incurable neurodegenerative disease that sees patients suffer a progressive loss of function, with their life prognosis shortened by four to six years.
It's understood that funds raised through ticket sales for charity match will go towards aiding ALS research through the Luzon Foundation.
