Angel Di Maria debut goal and a Dusan Vlahovic brace assisted Juventus beat Sassuolo 3-1 during the Serie A opener.
Di Maria was found by Alex Sandro deep into the penalty box and watched his shot volley into the air before it bounced over Andrea Consigli's head in order to stop the deadlock for the hosts.
Vlahovic was soon in the action, and acted superbly to force a foul from Gian Marco Ferrari in order to earn an extra penalty on the stroke of half-time. He didn't make a mistake at the spot, and then volleyed his spot-kick straight into the middle to increase Juventus their advantage.
Juventus increased their lead as Di Maria capitalised on a disastrous Sassuolo mistake on near the outside of the box.
The Argentine took advantage of the ball that was tossed around and discovered Vlahovic who slid the ball past Consigli to score his second goal of the game.
