Napoli began with the start of Serie A Season with victory over Hellas Verona in their opening game of the season on the 15th of August 2022.

Hellas Verona took the lead in the midst of the game within the 28th minute. But, Spalletti and his team did well in responding with two goals in the first half to secure the crucial advantage.

In the second period, Verona scored an early goal, but Zielinski Politano, Zielinski, as well as Lobotka were able to score for Napoli to increase their advantage in the game.
