Thousands of Red Devils fans stage protest outside Old Trafford after Man United's win Liverpool (Photos)

Manchester United fans were left in frenzy mode after their team recorded first season's win at Old Trafford stadium. 

The Red Devils were able to turn their back to back defeats into victory against their arch rival, Liverpool. 

Goals from Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford put Erik Den Hag side in the lead on Monday night infront of thousands of fans. 

Meanwhile Mohamed Salah stirred a header pass David De Gea in the 81st minute but Man U held on despite the nervy end to the game. 

Thousands of fans staged a protest outside the stadium to express their frustration at their beloved club. 

Manchester United haven't been convincing this season with on and off field incidence. 

Their talisman Cristiano Ronaldo who was benched in the game looked to be unsettled at the club. 

The 37-year-old footballer wants to push a summer move away from the club, but Erik Den Hag has remained optimistic that Ronaldo will stay.
