22 years old Liverpool forward has taken to his social media space to share his thoughts after his awful red card against Crystal Palace. 


Darwin Nunez happens to be Jurgen Klopp's summer signing for the new campaign. The Uruguay international joined the Reds for club record fee from Benfica. 



If you remember that Darwin Nunez came off the bench to score on his debut on Liverpool's 2-2 draw against Fulham at Craven Cottage on match day one in the Premier League. 

On Monday night, Liverpool played out another draw in front of the Anfield fans against Patrick Vieira side.

Wilfred Zaha gave the Palace side the lead in the first half before Luis Diaz scored the equaliser few minutes after Nunez was sent off. 


The powerful striker was shown a straight red card after he headbutt Palace defender Anderson. This means that Nunez will miss the next three games for Liverpool starting from their weekend clash against Manchester United. 

Taking to his social media space, he pen an apology tweet to fans saying: "Apologies to Liverpool all." 

He added that he will come back stronger despite the match ban. Nunez concluded, "I’ll be back."
