UEFA have annouced the nominees for the men's player of the year award.
It's understood that the group stage draws for the UEFA Champions League for 2022-23 season will be released this evening.
Following the final three shortlist, Real Madrid’s duo of Karim Benzema and Thibaut Courtois made the cut along with Kevin De Bruyne' s Manchester City.
Recall that Karim Benzema who looks to be favourite after he guided Real Madrid to winning UEFA Champions League trophy and La Liga last season.
The French international also finished top scorer in both competitions.
While Courtois finished with highest clean sheet in the La Liga as well as claiming man of the match award in the Champions League final against Liverpool.
For Kevin De Bruyne, he guided Manchester City the winning the Premier League title last season. The Belgian international also emerged player of the season.
UEFA also annouced the men's coach of the year shortlist.
Real Madrid's Carlo Ancelotti who won the La Liga and UEFA Champions League will face Premier League managers in Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola.
Guardiola won the Premier League with City while Klopp win th domestic double of FA Cup and League Cup with Liverpool.
