Ronaldo is back with the team in training after missing their pre season tour due to personal reasons.
The 37-year-old was spotted at the Carrington training center as he took part in the sprint drills.
Manchester United suffered 2-1 defeat at Old Trafford stadium over the weekend in their opening game of the new season.
The Portugal international started the game from the bench as he was introduced when the Red Devils were trailing by two goals.
He posted the above images of himself in training ahead of Brentford game this weekend with the caption which reads: "Hard work always pays off"
