Goals from Oliver Giroud, Saelemaekers and Pobega ensured that Milan clinched three points despite Petkovic pulling a goal back for Zagreb.
OLIVER GIROUD PENALTY PUTS MILAN IN THE LEAD
AC Milan took the lead just before half-time from the penalty spot. It was from a throughball that opened Zagreb defense and it's a clumsy challenge by Sutalo, who clips Leao's heels in his attempts to get in front of the forward.
Olivier Giroud confidently fires it into the bottom-right corner. Livakovic dives the wrong way and Milan lead in the game.
MILAN DOUBLE THEIR ADVANTAGE IN SECOND HALF...
Two minutes into the restart of the game, Saelemaekers makes it 2-0 for the host.
Leao gets away from Ristovski down the left and clips a wonderful cross into the middle where Saelemaekers run onto it and thumps his header over Livakovic and into the back of the net.
ZAGREB PULL A GOAL BACK...
Zagreb scored a goal in the 55 minutes after Petkovic gets return pass just inside the box and hits the shot first time, curling it around Calabria and into the far bottom corner, out of Maignan's reach.
POBEGA THIRD SEALED THE WIN....
Milan ended any Zagreb hope of comeback with the third goal in 76 minutes. When Milan can't find a way down their right, they switch it to the left, with Pobega sliding it into the box for Hernandez. Pobega fired his first-time shot over Livakovic and in off the bottom of the bar.
