Diogo Jota returns from injury to feature in Liverpool's squad to face Everton in Merseyside derby

Liverpool forward, Diogo Jota has returned to the squad ahead of Merseyside derby.

The Reds travel to the Goodison Park on Saturday early kick off to face local rival in Everton. 

Diogo Jota is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Liverpool and Portugal national team. 

The former Wolverhampton forward hasn't featured in any game for Jurgen Klopp's men so far this season due to injury. 

Jota was pictured warming up ahead of the 12:30pm GMT kick off. 

Meanwhile, Liverpool are hoping for their third win in a row for the first time this season. 

Jurgen Klopp side had a slow start to the new 2022-23 Premier League with back to back draws against Fulham and Crystal Palace. 

It's been only one defeat for the Reds this season which came against Manchester United at Old Trafford stadium.

But things have turned the corner after their 9-0 thumping of Bournemouth and 2-1 win over Newcastle United last week.
