Manchester United star Christian Eriksen was voted man of the match despite his team's defeat in UEFA Nations League.

Denmark lost 2-1 away from home against Croatia in their match day five of group A clash in the competition.

The 30 years old Danish midfielder was the stand out player in the game between the two teams.

Christian Eriksen has been able to revive his career since suffering cardiac arrest at the European competition.

Following a goalless draw in the first half of the game, Borna Sosa broke the deadlock for the home team in the 49th minute.

Christian Eriksen equalized in the 77th minute with a stunning goal.

But Lovro Majer scored the winning goal for Croatia national team in the 79th minute to end the match 2-1.

After the game, 30 years old midfielder was seen posing with the man of the match award.

The former Inter Milan and Tottenham Hotspur star joined Manchester united this summer as a free agent.

Eriksen has been able to win the heart of the fans after he was voted Manchester United player of the month of September.
