Mikel Arteta reveals Arsenal's 24 man squad for Europa League 2022-23 season

Mikel Arteta has annouced Arsenal's squad for their Europa League campaign for the 2022-23 season. 

If you recall that the Gunners clinched the ticket after finishing fifth in the Premier League last term. 

Arsenal suffered their first defeat against Manchester United at Old Trafford stadium over the weekend. 

Prior to the loss, Mikel Arteta side had recorded five victories on the row in the league as they sit on top of the Premier League table. 

But goals from Antony Santos and  Marcus Rashford brace condemned the north London side to their first league defeat. 

Although, Bukayo Saka, who turned 21 years old scored the only goal of the game for the Gunners. 

Arsenal will turn their attention to the Europa League opening group game on Thursday evening. 

The Gunners travel to Switzerland to face Swiss Super League side, FC Zurich in their opening game. 

Arsenal's Europa League Full List:

Goalkeepers: Aaron Ramsdale, Matthew Charles, James Hillson

Defenders: Ben White, Gabriel, William Saliba, Rob Holding, Cedric, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Oleksandr Zinchenko

Midfielders: Tierney, Thomas Partey, Odegaard, Fabio Vieira, Lokonga, Elneny, Xhaka, Matthew Smith

Forwards: Jesus, Smith Rowe, Martinelli, Nketiah, Nelson, Alencar

Mikel Arteta will be hoping to better his team's last outing in Europa League after they were knocked out by eventual winners Villarreal in 2021.

If you recall that the Gunners didn't qualify for European club competition in 2021-2022 season after finishing in eight position.
