Arsenal's Oleksandr Zinchenko is expected to miss the Gunners weekend clash with Brentford.
The 25-year-old is currently struggling with a calf problem which he suffered in training during the week.
Mikel Arteta side will travel to the Brentford Community stadium this weekend.
Zinchenko has settled into the team since arriving from Manchester City.
The full back has been ruled out of Ukraine international games next week as well.
Ukraine are set to face Scotland in a double header this month as well as Armenia in their UEFA Nations League campaign.
An official statement read: "Oleksandr Zinchenko will not be able to help the blue and yellow during the September matches in the UEFA Nations League.
"The player suffered a calf muscle injury during training at the club which will require two weeks for treatment and recovery."
Arsenal's Zinchenko came off the bench in Gunners 2-1 win over FC Zurich in their Europa League clash last week.
The Ukraine football association has wished thr defender speedy recovery. "Oleksandr immediately personally informed the head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Oleksandr Petrakov, of the unfortunate news by calling him. We wish Sashka a speedy recovery."
