"The captain is back" - Real Madrid shares photos of Karim Benzema in training after recovery from injury

Real Madrid have confirmed that Karim Benzema has returned to training after weeks on sidelines. 

The 34-year-old striker has been struggling with a knee injury he sustained last month. 

If you recall that Karim Benzema was forced off in Real Madrid UEFA Champions League clash against Celtic in Glasgow. 

The Real Madrid was replaced by Eden Hazard who went ahead to score in the 3-0 win. 

Benzema has missed last few weeks due to injury but he looked excited to be back with the team. 

Real Madrid shared several clips of Karim Benzema training with th squad. 

Speaking in his interview, he said:"I'm happy and looking forward to the game on Sunday." 

Real Madrid who are enjoying their 100 percent record in the league will face Osasuna this weekend.

Karim Benzema could make his come back at the Santiago Bernabéu on Sunday in the La Liga clash.
