The Blues completed the signing of the 21 French international joined Chelsea on a long term deal this summer.
The French defender put pen to paper on a contract valid until June 2027 with Chelsea for fee in the region of £70m.
Wesley Fofana who made bus debut against West Ham told the L'Equipe in an interview that Tuchel spoke to him before he made the move.
Fofana said: "I came here also in great part for him.
"He’s a manager I appreciate, in his management, his style of play."
If you recall that Chelsea annouced the sack of Thomas Tuchel following their disappointing result against Dynamo Zagreb.
Chelsea suffered 1-0 defeat to Dynamo Zagreb in Champions League opening group game on Tuesday.
He added: "There’s already a trust relationship with him. Chelsea’s system is quite similar to Leicester’s.
"They want to use me in a three at the back defence. I can play on the right or in the middle. I’ll adapt either way.”
