Chelsea have decided to part ways with Thomas Tuchel following their disappointing results.
The Blues haven't been convincing this term in Premier League as they continued to struggle for results.
Tuchel sack comes after their defeat to Dynamo Zagreb in Croatia on Tuesday night.
Remember that Chelsea lost 1-0 in their opening Champions League group game to Dinamo Zagreb on Tuesday night.
Thomas Tuchel happens to be one highest spenders in the just concluded transfer window with the arrival of players.
Chelsea's new sporting director, Todd Boehly has axed Tuchel just three months after completing his takeover of the club.
The official statement reads: "On behalf of everyone at Chelsea FC, the Club would like to place on record its gratitude to Thomas and his staff for all their efforts during their time with the Club. Thomas will rightly have a place in Chelsea’s history after winning the Champions League, the Super Cup and Club World Cup in his time here. "
Tuchel who spent 100 days in charge of West London club guided them to winning the UEFA Champions League, Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup in 2020-2021 season.
