Wife of American singer and Grammy award winner, Chrissy Teigen has revealed that she had a life-saving abortion in September 2020 after learning her son would not survive.
Chrissy Teigen and her husband John Legend were expecting their baby boy, Jack in 2020 but unfortunately she suffered miscarriage.

In an interview, the top class model admitted that her life would have also been in danger if she'd chosen to keep the pregnancy.

Chrissy Teigen opened up at Propper Daley's 'A Day of Unreasonable Conversation' summit on Thursday in Beverly Hills, saying: 'Two years ago, when I was pregnant with Jack, John and my third child, I had to make a lot of difficult and heartbreaking decisions,' the star began.

'It became very clear around halfway through that he would not survive, and that I wouldn't either without any medical intervention.'

Chrissy previously told fans that Jack's death at 20 weeks was the result of a miscarriage after suffering a partial placental abruption.

Chrissy previously told fans that Jack's death at 20 weeks was the result of a miscarriage after suffering a partial placental abruption. But she has now revered the truth that she did not recognize she'd had an abortion until just a 'few months ago' and that it came as a 'shock' to her

She added: 'I fell silent, feeling weird that I hadn't made sense of it that way. I told the world we had a miscarriage, the world agreed we had a miscarriage, all the headlines said it was a miscarriage.

She is currently pregnant with her and John's fourth child, which was conceived through IVF treatment.

'And I became really frustrated that I didn't, in the first place, say what it was, and I felt silly that it had taken me over a year to actually understand that we had had an abortion,' she admitted.

John Legend and his wife, Chrissy Teigen already share daughter Luna Simone, six, and son Miles Theodore, four
