Arsenal will host Nottingham Forest at the Emirates stadium in their Premier League clash on Sunday.
The game is expected to kick off at 3pm GMT.

The gunners will be hoping to bounce back from their disappointing draw against Southampton at the Saint Mary's stadium last week.

Recall that Gunners dropped two points against Southampton last week after Armstrong scored equaliser to cancel Granit Xhaka opening goal.

Arsenal are currently second in the Premier League table after Manchester City recorded 1-0 win over Leicester City.

On the other hand, Nottingham Forest recorded 1-0 win over Liverpool last week.

Steve Cooper side claimed a famous three points against Jurgen Klopp after Taiwo Awoniyi scored the only goal of the game.

Arsenal XI: Ramsdale; Tomiyasu, Gabriel, Saliba, White; Partey, Xhaka, Odegaard; Saka, Martinelli, Jesus.

The Brazilian headed the ball into the net after Bukayo Saka cross from the right.

Ryan Yates loses the ball on the Forest right, and the ball quickly finds its way to Bukayo Saka cross into the box for Martinelli to head past Dean Henderson for his fifth of the campaign

26 minutes - Bukayo Saka has been replaced by Reiss Nelson.

The England forward still doesn't look quite himself, but Arteta will be worried as they have another home game against Zurich in their final Europa League game on Thursday night.



HALF TIME === ARSENAL 1 VS 0 NOTTINGHAM FOREST

The referee Simon Cooper had blown fo the half time after 2 minutes of additional minutes.

Arsenal currently have a goal lead after Martinelli headed Saka cross in the 5 minutes.

Although Gunners have had chances but haven't been able to find the back of the net.

For Steve Cooper side, they haven't been able to match up to the Arsenal but he will be glad about the scoreline.

SECOND HALF

Arsenal have scored the second in the 48 minutes to give Gunners the advantage.

Granit Xhaka makes a fantastic run from deep in behind the defence he then pulls it back to Jesus to assist for Nelson to score.
Nelson scored for Arsenal since November 2020.

Reiss Nelson got his second goal in the game. The English winger replaced Saka who was injured.

Reiss Nelson scored twice in a three-minute span against Forest. Odegaard receives the ball inside the box and lays it off to White under heavy pressure, and the full-back sends the ball into the near post, for Nelson to clip past Henderson.

Thomas Partey scores with a curler to lift the fans at the Emirates stadium.

Arsenal extend their lead by four goals after Nelson lays it off to Partey outside the box and he fires home from range.

78 minutes (GOAL ⚽)

Martin Odegaard grabs his goal as Gunners dominated Forest.

Gabriel Jesus in his third assist as he holds up the defender before he laid the pass to Odegaard who lashed into the net from six yards.

FULL TIME ARSENAL 5 VS 0 NOTTINGHAM FOREST

The Gunners have sealed an emphatic win against Forest as they moved back to the top of the Premier League table.

Gabriel Martinelli had given Arsenal the lead after five minutes.

The Reiss Nelson came into the game after Saka was pulled out due to injury.

The winger netted a brace before Thomas Partey curler to make it four goals to nil.

Martin Odegaard who had an excellent game in the afternoon scored his fourth goal this season.
