Brighton Hove Albion players showed their support for their fellow player Enock Mwepu during their Premier League match against Brentford.
The Seagulls were spotted wearing a warm up shirt with the Zambian footballer name and his shirt number 8.
Enock Mwepu is a Zambian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder.
The 24-year-old midfielder came into the limelight in Europe after he signed for Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg in 2017. Mwepu performance attracted the interest of Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion in 2021.
If you recall that Enock Mwepu annouced his retirement from playing football during the week.
The Zambian former professional footballer was forced to hang his boots at age 24 due to hereditary heart problem.
Although, Brighton lost 2-0 after Ivan Toney scored twice in the game to hand his team the victory.
The shirt was worn by every Brighton player along with a message written on it. The message that was written on these lovely shirts is “Your Dream Came True. We Are With You.”
Meanwhile, Brighton also shared photos from their dressing room ahead of the game.
The Seagulls decorated their dressing room with Enock Mwepu shirt and the Zambian national team flag.
