Chelsea star, Raheem Sterling launch new football boots inspired by buses he boarded to training with his sister (Photos)

Chelsea star Raheem Sterling has annouced the launch of his customized football boots.

Reportminds Blog understands that English footballer has partner with popular fashion brand New Balance.

Raheem Sterling who is 27-year-old is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Chelsea.

The England international joined Chelsea this summer for fee in region of 50m pounds from Manchester City.

Sterling has scored three goals in eight games for the Blues since he arrived at the Stamford Bridge.

The former Liverpool star, Raheem Sterling show off his new boot inspired by the long bus journeys he made to training with his older sister growing up in London.

Sterling who was born in Jamaica, grew up in London went through some different times after losing his father while still in primary school.

It's understood that the forward and his sister Lakima would take three different buses as a child to make it to training while he was growing up in Brent.

Sharing the tweet on his social media space as he held the new boots, Sterling tweeted: "3 buses to get to training. 18, 182 and 140. I'll never forget those numbers." 

The 27-year-old decided to pay tribute to his sibling by designing his New Balance boots with the same blue colour as the seats of those London buses to signify their mutual trials and tribulations.

He added: "No matter what, my big sister Lakima with me every single day. My latest boot is dedicated to her and all those moments we shared together, on the #RouteToSuccess."
