Conor Gallagher came off the bench to score the winner for Chelsea against Crystal Palace. 

The English footballer scored against his former team at the Selhurst Park on Saturday in the Premier League match day eight. 

Chelsea recorded 2-1 win against Patrick Vieira side as Graham Potter claimed his first win as Blues Boss. 

The 47 years old was named new manager of Chelsea due to the sack of Thomas Tuchel weeks ago.
 
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored his debut goal to cancel Edouard opening goal for Crystal Palace.

Meanwhile Conor Gallagher was introduced in the game as Graham Potter looked to stabilize the midfield. 

The Chelsea academy graduate scored stunning goal from the edge of the box to make it 2-1 in the closing stages of the game. 

Gallagher received a pass from Christian Pulisic who also a substitute before unleashing his strike. 

Conor Gallagher refused to celebrate his goal as he decided to respect the Crystal Palace fans. 

Speaking after the game, Gallagher said: “I want to work as hard as I can for Potter, be available when he needs me and give my best”.

He scored 8 goals from 3 assists in 34 goals for Crystal Palace last season with Patrick Vieira side.
